The second Arcomis launch event took place at the Holywell Room in association with the LCMG and Oxford University on November 5th, 2008.

Again the Garland for Carter was performed, this time with the addition of two new pieces by Arlene Sierra and Ken Hesketh. The concert was an overwhelming succes with a large audience, many of whom also attended the pre-concert talk given by Phillip Cooke, Adrian Hull, Robert Saxton and John Traill.

The Garland for Carter now consists of works by twelve leading British composers.
