New Music Commissioning Fund

Arcomis has launched a new music commissioning fund.

The fund will support a number of commissioning projects and will allow individuals to donate small amounts to this great cause. Every penny that is raised will be used to help pay for the commissioning and performance of new music. Please contact us for further information if you would like to know more about the fund.

The Flute Event Needs You!

Do you play the flute? We are looking for 100 young players (18 or under) to take part in Create and Perform! the BBC National Orchestra of Wales led session taking place on Saturday afternoon of the Flute Event in Cardiff.

The session is open to young players of all abilities and will focus upon the rehearsal and performance of an exciting new work for massed flutes and percussion.

It will start at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday April 2 in BBC Hoddinott Hall culminating in a public performance at 4 p.m.

Signature Recital Programmes Confirmed

Programmes for two of the three signature recitals at the Flute Event have now been confirmed. The concerts will include a mix of contemporary music and standard repertoire and are sure to be one of the highlights of the weekend. Click here for further information.
