Printed Arcomis Flute Album

The printed Arcomis Flute Album is now available for purchase directly from Arcomis.

The printed album contains eighteen new pieces for unaccompanied flute, and is suitable for players of a range of abilities from around grade 6 through to professional contemporary music specialists.

If you purchase the printed album before July 31 you will be eligible for a free download of the online Arcomis Flute Album. The online album is due for release in mid July and will comprise of a large, diverse catalogue of nearly fifty new pieces for both accompanied and unaccompanied flute.

Arcomis and Elektrostatic

Elektrostatic in association with Arcomis recently played host to Sir Peter Maxwell Davies at a three-day-long series of concerts and talks at the Colston Hall and Arnolfini in Bristol.

The concerts included pieces from local composers, as well as pieces by Maxwell Davies himself, which were performed by the Bristol Ensemble and highly acclaimed Psappha Ensemble.

Two local schools were also involved in the concert series; preparing a piece for rehearsal and performance with Sir Peter in attendance at the Colston Hall, Bristol.

Flute Album Launch Concert

The printed Arcomis Flute Album was launched on Wednesday 16 May at a concert of new works performed by Carla Rees, Joshua Batty and Alena Lugovkina at the Colston Hall, Bristol.

Within an array of new music from the printed and online albums, alongside some classics, the concert programme provided the opportunity to hear a number of different flutes in action including the piccolo, alto, and bass instruments alongside music for flute and electronics.
